World Cup 2010

POYP can’t NOT cover football – considering it’s the World Cup 2010. And the quarter finals have begun with a bang.

First, Brazil were knocked by underdogs Holland. And then, in probably one of the best matches of the tournament so far, Ghana, who gave Uruguay the game of their lives, then shockingly missed a penalty in the dying minute of extra time, failing to secure their place in History as one of the first African teams to reach a semi-final of the World Cup.

They were then forced to the dreaded penalty shoot out. And failed.

Who says it’s just England who clam up when it comes to penalty kicks. Today’s quarter finals should be crackers….
